About the Course
This Gel Nail Course introduces you into a world of creativity and a new career in nails. Increase your income by working from home or get the qualifications to work in a beauty salon. The course will cover all aspects of creating a full set of gel nail extensions. Each day has a structured schedule so that you benefit the most from your course.
You can start with your Gel Beginner and if you want to then also train in Acrylic nails you just need to book our Acrylic Conversion class(link to course). You are not required to do 2 Beginner level classes.

You will be required to work on each other during your practical assessments, if you are unable to take part in the treatment you will be required to provide your own model. Models must not be under 16, pregnant or breastfeeding and must sign a consent form. Please ensure that they have adequate nail growth on the hands to practise.
10 sets should be attempted to be completed at home, as part of your beginner course. This starts after Day 1 of your class. This can be live models and training hand practice . Live models are always better practice, if possible.
Previous qualifications and experience within beauty/manicures/pedicures required.

You will be trained and assessed by a fully qualified tutor at and upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a Accredited Certificate, recognised and accepted for insurance purposes with main insurance providers.

Frequently Asked Questions
All our accredited courses are fully accredited meaning you will be fully qualified and can obtain insurance to work on clients.
Each course differs in terms of length but for every course you will have some theory followed by step-by-step demos to follow, downloads to keep and case studies to complete before receiving your certificate.
You have to pass all your quiz questions for each module before moving onto the next but you can attempt the questions as many times as needed, referring back to your manual. When you submit your case studies, we may ask you to send us more than 2 to make sure you are ready to complete the course.
You will have continued support both during and after your course from the team at Beauty Xpress Academy.
Training kits are included in some of the courses. You will have a choice to purchase a training kit from Beauty Xpress Academy or bring your own one. If you would like to discuss your training and kit options, please email [email protected]

Courses are non-refundable. If at any point you don’t feel that your course is giving you the skills to become a competent technician, please speak to us and we will do our best to ensure you feel confident with the materials and give you extra support if required.
You have one year access to your course via our online learning platform to complete it and you can refer back to it at any time in one year period.
